Problem issue for TOYOTA GT86 and SUBARU BRZ Gen1

Almost 7 Years There are some Rattle noise issue from Steering Colum.

The problem is the STRG warm gear was broken then it’s make the clearance between warm gear and STRG Motor.

Basically we need to replace New STRG Warm Gear and re-assembly the STRG Colum Then the rattle noise will disappear.

This example that we found from customer car. they don’t replace the New STRG Warm Gear but they use Silicone to fill up the gap.

It’s worst because temporary the noise will disappear but driver will feel there are some fiction when you turn the Steering wheel because Silicone will leak thought STRG Motor.
